Le Phare School 5th Annual Plant and Yard Sale (rain or shine)

The annual plant and yard sale takes place Saturday, May 26th from 8am – 1pm on the school grounds.  Shoppers will find a great selection of sun and shade plants ranging in price from $1 – 18.  As well, there will be great bargains on household items, toys, books and clothing.  Baked goods available.  Shop early for best selection.  Payment by cash only.
What kind of plants will be sold?
Plants are generously donated by the families who attend Le Phare E.S.  Some other plants are dug up from the school gardens to help thin out the overgrown beds.  Until the sale date, one never knows what kinds of plants will be available.  However, one thing is for sure.  All plants are proven to perform well in our growing zone.
Donations of plants, household items, toys, etc. for the sale are much appreciated.  Drop off time: Friday May 25th from 7-8pm.  Plants must be labelled.  You can download the Plant Labels here.
To rent a table ($20) at the Yard Sale please contact us at plantyardsale@lephareschool.ca.  Funds raised support healthy and active living programs for students as well as maintenance of the school gardens.

Public Consultations Regarding School Bus Improvements

Public Consultations regarding proposed policy harmonization for transportation services will be held between April 2-10, 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.  Please check the Transportation Authority’s website for specific dates and locations of the meetings.
